Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to run Applydeck:

• Account information — your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Profile and application data — details you add to build your profile, such as work history, skills, city and country, résumés, and cover letters.
• Job-page content — when you open the extension on a job page, it reads that page’s content (job title, description, and application form fields) and its URL so it can score the match and fill the form. It reads only the page you are actively using, not your browsing history.
• Technical data — a session token and cookies used to keep you signed in, plus basic device and request information needed to operate and secure the service.

• Fill job application forms with your profile data.
• Score how well a job matches your profile and highlight matched and missing skills.
• Generate AI-assisted answers to open-ended application questions.
• Create, secure, and support your account.
• Send you service messages related to your account.

We do not use your data to make credit, lending, or eligibility decisions, and we do not sell it.

The Applydeck extension runs only on job sites you enable — every other site is off by default and opt-in. It reads a page’s content only when you open the panel or trigger autofill on that page, and sends that content to our servers solely to produce autofill results, a match score, or an AI answer. It does not track your browsing, monitor your activity, or run in the background on sites you have not enabled.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, to run Applydeck:

• Cloud hosting and database providers that store service data.
• Third-party AI model providers that generate autofill content, match scores, and answers from the data you submit.
• Email delivery providers for account and service messages.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and service.

We keep your account and profile data while your account is active. Job-page content submitted for autofill or scoring is retained only as long as needed to provide the result and improve reliability, then deleted or de-identified. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. You can also disable or remove the extension at any time to stop all page reading. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and scoped permissions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and limit what each part of the service can access.

Applydeck is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where it is, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this policy and applicable law.

We may update this policy as Applydeck evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
